FADE’s Privacy Policy and Personal Data Protection

Norm and performance

The Asturian Federation of Employers (hereinafter known as FADE) informs the web site users about their Privacy Policy and Personal Data Protection, in compliance with the law 15/1999 of December 13, regarding Personal Data Protection, and other applicable regulations, in order to let the users decide freely and voluntarily whether to provide the personal data required by the site.

FADE reserves the right to modify it according to their own criteria, due to any change on the legislation, jurisprudence or business practice. If any change is to be introduced, the new text will be published on this site, where the user will be informed about the current policy. Nonetheless, the relationship with the employees will work according to the rules that were operative at the exact time of accessing the web-site.

Voluntary – Compulsory

FADE will not collect any information through the web site about any person (for example: name, address, company, telephone number or e-mail address -"personal information"-), unless he/she voluntarily decides to provide it (for example: through query forms, registration to conferences or courses, or web and bulletin registration).

The form fields, where the obligatory nature is reflected by means of an asterisk or other kind of shape, are considered completely necessary for providing the required service in such a way that, if the necessary fields are not filled in, the service offered in the site will not be provided (including the web registration service).

Exemption of Responsibility

FADE’s web site does not contain links to other web sites considered relevant or of interest. FADE bears no responsibility regarding the privacy policies or other sites’ content.

Data property. Correction, cancellation and opposition rights.

Likewise, in compliance with the previously mentioned law, we inform you that your personal data are incorporated in an automated file belonging to FADE and committed to treat and answer the information queries, registration requests and registration in FADE’s different services. You can exercise the access, correction, cancellation and opposition rights according to this law submitting in writing to FADE, file responsible, with address in Oviedo, C/ Pintor Luis Fernández, nº 2.

Safety in the data treatment

FADE has taken the legally required safety levels regarding personal data protection, they have adopted the technical and organizational measures required by the Royal Decree 994/1999, safety measures Regulation as regards automated files containing personal data, and have installed all the media and technical measures available in order to avoid the loss, mistreatment, alteration, non-authorized access and stealing of the data herein provided. Nevertheless, the user is aware of the fact that the safety measures in the Internet are not impregnable.

No personal information automatically stored

When the user enters our web, some non-personally identifiable information may be automatically collected, that is, not by means of registration, (for instance: kind of Internet browser and operating system in use; the domain name of the source web site; number of visits, average visiting time in our web, visited pages). Information employed in measuring our web page use and improving our content.

"Cookies" use

Through this notice, FADE informs the users of the use of cookies when the user navigates through the different screens and site pages; that is to say, when the user enters one of the web sections, some information could be stored in his/her computer by means of a cookie in order to automatically recognize the user the next time he/she comes back. Cookies can help in many aspects, for instance, adapting a web site depending on the user’s interests, or avoiding re-introducing the password every time the user enters. If you do not wish to be identified, please delete the cookies from your computer’s hard disk through your Internet browser, block all the cookies or choose to receive a warning before storing a cookie. It is not necessary to allow the cookie installation sent by FADE to use the portal; in such a case, the user will need to register as user in each of the services that require previous registration and it is also possible that the page will not work properly.
